Downloads and SHA-256 hashes

These are the files I publish: free Android apps and tools for Windows. Every one has its SHA-256 hash so you can confirm the file arrived complete and unchanged.

How to verify a file. On Windows, open PowerShell in your download folder and run Get-FileHash .\file-name -Algorithm SHA256. Compare the result with the hash on this page; they must match. On Linux or macOS use sha256sum file or shasum -a 256 file.

Android apps

APK files signed with a development key. Android may ask for permission to install apps from unknown sources.

Legitimate use. 6Scan and 6Sight are security tools. Scanning networks or websites without permission is illegal in most countries. Use them on your own systems or where you have written authorization.

Notes

Code signing. The Windows installers are not yet signed with a code-signing certificate, so Windows may show a SmartScreen warning. Verify the SHA-256 hash before running any file. If the hash does not match, do not run it and let me know.

Security reports. If you find a problem in any of these files, email leandro.sepulveda@gmail.com. You can also check the security.txt.
